We aim to dispatch orders on the same day if placed before 2 pm Monday - Friday.
Otherwise, it will be dispatched the following business day.
Orders are shipped using NZPost, which is an overnight courier service.
We aim to have orders delivered within the following:
- 2 - 3 business days for Non-Rural deliveries
- 3 - 4 business days for Rural deliveries
An email confirmation with NZPost tracking will be sent once the order has been dispatched.
Yes, we offer free shipping for orders over $79!
This is standard, tracked shipping that doesn't require a signature.
All throughout New Zealand!

Please note: There are additional shipping costs for rural delivery addresses.

Our shipping costs are as below:
- Non-Rural Courier - $5.50
- Non-Rural Courier (Signature Required) - $6.50
- Rural Courier - $9.50
- Rural Courier (Signature Required) - $10.50
- Free Shipping on orders over $79.
- Free Shipping on orders over $79 (Signature required) - $1.00
We no longer offer click + collect.
However, we offer overnight shipping on all orders, and aim for same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2 pm Monday - Friday.
All products are shipped from our warehouse in Grey Lynn, Auckland.

All products on our website are pre-owned and have met our resale-friendly criteria.

Yes! All products are sanitised by us before being shipped
Learn more about how we sanitise each type of product before it gets shipped to you.

Unopened products are left unopened, and the outside packaging is santisied with isopropyl alcohol.
Opened products are sanitised according to the product type.
- Pressed powders are wiped clean of excess powder and lightly spritzed with isopropyl alcohol.
- Tubes and bottles with a pump are cleared of existing product in the pump and wiped with isopropyl alcohol.
- Tubes and bottles without a pump are wiped with isopropyl alcohol.
- Dropper bottles are cleared of existing product in the dropper. The cap is wiped with isopropyl alcohol.
Due to the nature of consignment, we cannot offer returns if you change your mind. However, you are welcome to send the product back to us to be re-sold on your behalf under our selling terms, provided that the product still meets our resale-friendly criteria.

Do not message us on social media. Our email inbox is monitored daily, whereas our social media isn't.
We will comply with all of our obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
If an item arrives damaged, is defective, or the incorrect item has been delivered, we will work with you to arrange a replacement and/or refund as quickly as possible.
However, we are not responsible for damage or loss caused by the courier.
Please get in touch by email at hello@secondskin.nz within 48 hours of delivery, and we will work to have the issue solved as soon as possible.

Choose your pick of up to two samples alongside your order.

Our free samples can only be redeemed by purchasing a product for sale on our website, and our samples are not for sale even if you are willing to pay for them.
Our sellers kindly provide their samples to us, and we provide our time to upload them so that they are always self-select.

Typically within seven business days of accepting them into stock.
You will receive an email notification from us letting you know they are online and available to view in your Selling Account.
Log into your Selling Account here using the email address used to sell with us.
If it's your first time logging in, reset your password first.
7 days after a product of yours has sold, you can request a payout for your sold product.
If you have products that sold at least 7 days ago, you can request a payout for them here.

To withdraw a product, please email hello@secondskin.nz
Please keep in mind that our selling period is 10 weeks and if you would like to withdraw your products before the end of your selling period, a withdrawal fee will be charged to your Selling Account.
The withdrawal fee is $8 per product. This covers the administrative work of uploading the product to our website.
You will also need to cover the cost of shipping or pick up from our warehouse in Grey Lynn.
No, but you can log into your Selling Account at any time to check in on your products and earnings.
When completing your online selling form, you can choose from the following:
- Pick your product(s) up
- Pay for shipping to have them returned
- Leave them with us to dispose of safely with our TerraCycle Zero Waste Box™
